Compliance Officer, Manchester City Centre

A Compliance Officer is required for a fantastic new opportunity at a leading dispute resolution practice based in Manchester City Centre.

Salary is negotiable between £30 50k depending on experience. An expanding law firm that currently achieving great success my client has experienced steady growth over the past two years,

offering legal services in a number of areas including Personal Injury, Property, Private Client and Employment. They are looking to recruit a dedicated Compliance Officer with relevant and recent experience working within a Private Practice Law Firm specialising within Litigation.

The role will involve in supporting the Compliance Manager ensuring the Firm and it's Fee Earners comply with all relevant regulations and legislation, carrying out technical file audits and implementing results based improvement strategies, monitoring file opening procedures and dealing with external complaints. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding SRA Handbook, Confidentiality and Disclosure rules, Money Laundering Regulations, SAR, FSA etc. You will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrating confident in your ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels, with the view to ensuring that regulations and legislations are being carried out.

The role would suit those with previous experience working within a Compliance function for another Law Firm or an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor who would be happy to move away from fee earning. Apply today to be considered for this exciting new role.
