Highly successful modern technology group operating on a truly global platform aims to appoint an accomplished lawyer.
The successful lawyer will be working for a business which offers extensive business process outsourcing and IT outsourcing services, including data processing, HR benefits management, finance support, and customer relationship management services for both commercial and government organisations worldwide.
Your role will be to provide legal advice to a rapidly growing European business supporting in particular the full requirements of the business lines: HR Services, Information Technology Organisation, Business Process Services, Financial Services and Document Management Services, including regulatory compliance.
The scope of the commercial contracts covers multiple countries or large domestic UK contracts with, in some instances, cross boundary business transfer with all of the related taxation/ import issues.
A diet of exceptionally good quality awaits spanning:
* Advising on multi-country contracting, engaging local legal counsel where appropriate.
* Drafting a wide range of legal documents
* Supporting or leading contract negotiations with Client legal teams
* Performing legal analysis and delivering practical solutions
* Researching and analysing pan-European issues
* Providing legal advice on specific areas of law
* Managing and implementing regulatory compliance programmes
* Advising senior management on legal considerations
* Presenting future potential legal / risk issues to senior management
With regard to level, due to the depth of knowledge and level of expertise required to successfully meet the challenges in this role, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will have developed at least 5 years' post qualification experience of commercial matters. Your expertise will need to span advanced commercial contracts negotiations and ideally encompass outsourcing agreements.
With regard to level, this requirement is a guide, and candidates with other levels of experience who believe they have the required skill set are encouraged to apply.
