THE FIRM
A highly regarded City law firm with an international network and outstanding client base.
THE ROLE
The firm has an opportunity for a solicitor to join its highly successful London TMT department.
The team is looking for someone to focus on non-contentious IP and commercial work. The role has two main aspects:
1. Commercial and IP contracts and issues relating to our client's ongoing business such as software, trademark and patent licences and assignments, R&D, manufacturing and distribution agreements, service contracts, web development, security and non-disclosure agreements.
2. Major technology related strategic projects which are critical to our client's operations. These include infrastructure and outsourcing projects, and projects in support of strategic business initiatives.
Clients include household names.
As part of the global TMT practice, the team's work has a strong international flavour, working with colleagues in the EMEA, US and Asia Pacific regions.
Candidates should have considerable experience in both aspects of this role with strong client facing skills and must display strong academics.
Candidates will ideally have 3 to 5 years' pqe but the firm will consider applications from candidates outside this range with suitable skills and knowledge.
The department has a strong teamwork ethic and a first class client management approach.
It is essential that candidates are team players and committed to developing personally and professionally.
A determination to deliver a high quality focused product to our clients is essential, as is maintaining and developing client relationships.
