Job Description
This job spec can be applied for all:
An opportunity to join a fast growing law firm which enables the Solicitor to effectively be his or her boss. The firm offer a platform on which you can service your clients to make the whole thing worthwhile (for both parties), you should be confident of building quite quickly to billings of about £60,000 - £100,000 (web address removed) you are ambitious and wants to build up a department, so much the better. You can build up your "firm within a firm" and thereby increase your billings (although paying for any extra staff out of your "cut")
The position will suit someone who:
· can work alone, but appreciate a team spirit / telephone support
· has decided what area of law they want to do, has worked in that area for a while..so as to have contacts / potential clients/ introducers of work
· Is already thinking about setting up his or her own firm. This arrangement provides comfort and time can be spent on developing the law speciality / client base rather than on admin
· Is tired of wasting x hours a day commuting to London or elsewhere;
· Is fed up playing politics in a larger firm;
· Is a senior employee in a larger firm, who feels over worked / under paid ... no matter how hard you work, the rewards are no better
· Feels " ham strung" by big firm mentality
· Is more interested in getting a work / life balance assuming your area of law allows that flexibility
· Has interests outside law and wants to work part time
