Regional law firm has a vacancy in their Commercial team and seek a 2-4 yr PQE Solicitor to be based Cardiff to assist in the following areas: Technology: Business process outsourcing contracts in the financial services and public sectors; Technology supply agreements; Software licensing and software copyright issues; NHS IT including managed services contracts. Data Protection / FOIA: Data protection and freedom of information, including assisting with subject access requests, lecturing (The firm provides the British Computer Society`s ISEB courses in data protection and freedom of information) and transactional aspects of data protection. The successful candidate will have a basic grasp of general procurement law principles, ideally in respect of the competitive dialogue process. Good candidates without specific experience in the above areas, but a keeness to learn, are also encouraged to apply.
