Job Description
Corporate Commercial - 2 - 5 Year PQE Solicitor
Location: Bristol
Salary - £45,000 - £60,000
Our Client is expanding their Corporate/Commercial Department to meet the demands of new and existing clients in their locality and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities
You will be joining a full service commercial department handling major commercial contracts for both Private and commercial clients
Undertake Corporate and company workloads which cover both contentious and non contentious caseloads
Taking instructions, structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
Your general workload includes general commercial agreements, compliance and general regulatory work, product and services supply agreements
Reviewing, advising on and negotiating commercial contracts as above in the context of corporate transactions
You will handle a varied workload in accordance with client requirements and with an appropriate level of supervision
To demonstrate an awareness of clients' needs and perceptions to the discharge of your work for them and to act promptly, pro-actively and efficiently in relation to all client matters
You will act as a point of contact for clients, demonstrating a level of knowledge and skill commensurate with experience.
Skills
Ideally you will be a fully Qualified Solicitor with 2 - 5 years PQE and extensive experience in Company and Commercial work and preferably previous healthcare experience
Responsible and able to think on feet to assess risks and exercise sound judgement
You will posses an enthusiasm for commercial contracts
You will have good project management skills and be prepared to assist with supervision and coaching of junior members of the team
Candidates must be technically excellent with a sound knowledge of Commercial Law and a strong client focussed approach
You will have excellent relationship and client handling skills and therefore the ability to deal confidently and professionally with clients on day to day issues is necessary
Possess a robust personality who enjoys working for challenging clients
