Our client, a technology business with a global reach, is looking for a strong commercial lawyer with experience of intellectual property, media and commercial contracts to join their small and collaborative team.
Reporting to the Chief Counsel, you will enjoy working in a commercial environment. You will have the opportunity to work autonomously as well as part of a team. The role will cover a broad range of internet, new media and intellectual property matters.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Drafting and advising on various new media contracts and commercial agreements.
· Providing intellectual property advice, including advice on trade marks and copyright.
· Assisting the business with advertising and marketing including data protection, enforcement action against third parties and commercial agreements
· Providing advice to the business on key legal matters.
To be considered for the role you have at least 3 years' pqe*. You will have trained at a well regarded UK or international law firm in their commercial team or will have trained in-house with a leading blue chip organisation. You will have outstanding transactional experience coupled with strong interpersonal skills and will be adept at developing internal business relationships. You will demonstrate a strong, commercial and pragmatic attitude and will have a desire to make the role your own.
