National law firm are seeking a lawyer / legal executive from 1 to 4 pqe or equivalent to join the commercial team in Milton Keynes. The National Commercial team currently comprises 25+ lawyers and acts for an enviable list of major corporate including many household names including The Open University, Thomas Cook, Amazon, Experian, BAT, Home Retail Group and BP. The team is a developing centre of excellence for commercial lawyers and is routinely involved on complex, high value transactions and projects, often with an international dimension. The candidate will be required to support senior team members on larger transactions as well as taking responsibility for his / her own case load of smaller matters including advisory work and drafting and negotiating trading terms and supply contracts. The candidate should have sound drafting skills and good knowledge, and an interest in contributing to the development of the practice.
