On behalf of this renowned west midlands law firm, Frances Armstrong Associates LLP is currently seeking an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer with a diverse level of experience to take control of the firm’s Commercial Property department based in the south Birmingham area.
This rare and exciting opportunity has just arisen for an experienced Commercial Property Lawyer to assume responsibility and lead a team of 5 commercial property lawyers and support staff, and to develop this department in line with the firm’s strategic plans of growth. This progressive forward thinking city firm provides an extensive range of legal advice and services to corporate, commercial and private clients, in which client cross-selling opportunities are assured.
Prospective applicants must be enthusiastic, forward-thinking Solicitors with demonstrable experience in assisting the development and growth of a similar department. Due to the nature of the role, the successful applicant will have a current following and will be keen to market the department to the fullest extent.
This role will lead to a Partnership offering for the right applicant following a 'Trial Period'. Current Commercial Property Partners are encouraged to apply as this may fast track the Partnership offering.
Role:
You will be required to:
* Take responsibility of the development and management of the Commercial Property Department
* Oversee the running of the department
* Manage your own caseload within the department
* Have a proactive approach to obtaining new work and promoting the services of the dept and the firm.
Candidate
* A minimum of 8 years UK Commercial Property experience.
* Management experience is essential
* Proven experience in marketing department services.
* A current client following is desirable
Salary – Up to £90,000 Negotiable (Package will depend upon experience)
Start Date - ASAP
