COMMERCIAL LAWYER - SOUTH WEST LONDON
Leading healthcare law firm are seeking a commercial lawyer 6 years+ PQE to join their highly regarded Commercial department.
The role
The role will primarily involve undertaking a wide range of commercial and contractual based advisory work, including in respect of Foundation Trust matters, the developing social enterprise agenda, advice to charities and a range of governance, powers and procurement work.
The work of the department is varied and there will also be the opportunity to work with clients on a variety of project and corporate finance based schemes, including various forms of public-private partnerships and corporate acquisitions. There are good opportunities for advancement within the group for able candidates, including the opportunity to get involved in practice development.
Candidates will be expected to have gained legal experience with a leading commercial practice and to be able to demonstrate at interview that they have good interpersonal skills and are self-motivated, commercially minded, highly organised and able to work effectively in teams. Previous experience of the healthcare industry is beneficial but not essential.

The firm acts for over 150 healthcare clients, including leading national private sector healthcare providers, the Department of Health and many hospital trusts and health authorities. The Commercial department comprises of 12 fee earners and carries out high quality and complex healthcare corporate, commercial and projects work for the NHS and other healthcare bodies from the independent, private and voluntary sectors.
