Job Description

Our client is seeking a commercial lawyer to join their highly regarded Commercial department. The role will involve undertaking a wide range of commercial and contractual based advisory work, - including in respect of Foundation Trust matters, - the developing social enterprise agenda, - advice to charities and a range of governance, - powers and procurement work. There will also be the opportunity to work with their clients on a variety of project and corporate finance based schemes, including various forms of public-private partnerships and corporate acquisitions. Candidates will be expected: - to have gained at least 4 years PQE with a leading commercial practice - to demonstrate at interview that they have good interpersonal skills, are self-motivated, commercially minded, highly organised and able to work effectively in teams. There are good opportunities for advancement within the group for able candidates, including the opportunity to get involved in practice development. Previous experience of the healthcare industry is beneficial but not essential.
