Our client is an expanding law firm currently consisting of 9 partners, it's known for providing quality legal advice to both commercial and private clients throughout Thames Valley.
The firm requires an experienced Company Commercial Solicitor to join their Business Service team on a Full time or 2.5 days + per week.
You will need to be confident in handling:
*Sales and purchases of private company shares, business assets and unincorporated businesses.
*Setting up, managing and restructuring companies and partnerships including joint venture companies, shareholders' agreements and partnership agreements.
*Preparing/advising on business terms and conditions of trading
*Drafting contracts for customers, suppliers, agents, distributions, consultants, franchises and tendering projects
*Preparing/advising on IT development, licensing, maintenance and escrow agreements
*Voluntary and involuntary insolvency advice
*Advising on intellectual property rights, licensing and protections (such as copyright, trademarks, patents etc)
With this role you will also be expected to be involved in marketing and developing the department. It would be an advantage if you had knowledge or links with Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
You will need good academic qualifications and have previous experience of working in a medium size practice.
