Initially you will work with the Information Law division advising on data protection, access rights including freedom of information, surveillance, privacy, confidentiality and identity, rights to re-use information, records compliance and related areas. However, over a period of time will widen your experience to cover other areas of the group's work including in particular Commercial and IT law. The role will be solely non-contentious.
You will be advising both public sector and private sector bodies. In the public sector clients include government departments, NDPBs, local authorities, health trusts and regulators. In the private sector our clients include both UK based and international companies.
You should have gained good commercial training at a respected firm. An interest in information law is desirable. Full training will be provided.
