The Job
We are currently looking for a qualified music Lawyer to begin and build our in-house Legal team at [PIAS] UK. The main purpose of this role is to support the group in dealing with drafting, negotiating and managing a variety of contracts and agreements across [PIAS] UK, PIAS/ Wall of Sound, and [PIAS] UK Entertainment Group. Your role will also be to manage any legal disputes in relation to PIAS and their clients and advising on legal issues on the day to day running of [PIAS] UK.
The Person
You will be a qualified Lawyer with in-house experience. You will have a proven track record of dealing with a variety of agreements and contracts such as distribution, international, loan, third-party and service agreements. Understanding of music law and familiarity with the music industry is not essential but is advantageous. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, have the ability to work autonomously within a relaxed, friendly and dynamic environment, the confidence to build a team, and the audacity to jump into a role within the modern music industry.
