Job Description

This single-office firm is perhaps the leading commercial practice in Essex, with many partners and solicitors having started their careers in the City. There is now an excellent opportunity for a one-to-three-year qualified solicitor to join the corporate commercial department. The role will include assisting on some corporate transactional matters (the firm has a superb practice in this field), but by far the greatest part of your workload (probably up to 90%) will be drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. This is a dynamic practice with an excellent client base, which offers a real opportunity for a solicitor to develop his or her career. You will need to be a solicitor with a good academic background and between one and three years' experience of commercial contract work with a London or solid regional practice.Salary: £38,000 to £46,000 depending on experience.
