Job Description

Our Client are a corporate led UK law firm who have experienced impressive growth through committed investment into developing their legal services, by organic growth and strategic lateral hires. They focus on high quality, complex deals for a commercial client base that includes several FTSE 100, global companies and leading regional businesses.

As a result of a recent lateral hire they are seeking an experienced Commercial lawyer with IP/IT exposure. The department is developing fast and due to a continuous and steady increases in instructions are interested in bringing on board an mid range lawyer with between 3-6 years PQE. As the ideal individual you will have substantial interest in supporting the development of the practice group whilst maintaining and maximising existing relationships with clients and professional contacts.

As the ideal candidate you will be responsible for providing timely and commercially relevant legal advice to clients

Other key responsibilities will include:
§ Developing the firm’s continued promotion of its commercial, IP and IT offering
§ supervising, motivating and developing trainees and a junior team which will be developed
§ taking an active role in marketing and networking.
§ assisting in the production of articles for publication in relevant trade press.
§ developing training courses for clients

The successful candidate will be a dynamic and ambitious individual, keen to put their own mark in this expanding department.
You will have had previous experience or the potential to support and develop more junior members of the team.

Salary:
