Commercial & Dispute Resolution Lawyer/Associate Birmingham Working from offices throughout the UK, Europe and Asia, this commercial law firm provide legal services which are business sector oriented, commercial and customer friendly. An exceptional opportunity currently exists within their dedicated Commercial Services team based in Birmingham. The position will have a definite focus on general commercial, contracts, data protection, freedom of information and IT. On the contract side, you can expect to become involved in wide ranging non-contentious contractual issues from terms and conditions, agency, distribution and supply contracts, collaboration, joint venture, outsourcing and data processing, as well as IT contracts and web trading agreements. You will be encouraged to be proactive from day one, developing and managing client relationships with both small/medium clients and on larger transactional work. Candidates will ideally have a solid academic background with a good foundation in general commercial law but of more importance is a highly commercial outlook, self motivation and the ability to take responsibility for a demanding and varied workload.
