This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor to join the Corporate / Commercial department of this leading national top 200 private practice law firm within their Ipswich city centre office. The firms roots go back to the 1800's and they and they are highly regarded by the legal 500, Chambers and also praised by such publications as The Lawyer.
The Corporate Commercial Team, consisting of 14 individuals, advises businesses on issues such as corporate governance and company secretarial issues, corporate tax, commercial agreements and licences, competition law, procurement and intellectual property. They deal with high value transactions and compete at the top end of the market in this type of work.
Candidates must be able to show previous experience working for a corporate commercial department and knowledge of acquisitions and disposals, mergers and takeovers, joint ventures and commercial contracts. You must be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In return you will be offered a competitive salary iro £ 40,000 - 55,000 dependant on experience along with an excellent benefits package. The ideal candidate will have 2 - 6 years PQE although application from all candidates will be considered on their own merits.
