PUBLIC COMPANY LAWYER (BLUE BOOK) - LONDON CITY
Leading international company seeks mid-level Public Company Lawyer to focus on public company work, including takeovers, international securities offerings, stock exchange listings, public company aspects of the Companies Act, the Financial Services & Markets Act, insider dealing and market abuse problems, as well as general M&A work.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar city firm background with exposure and training to high quality work. It is essential that the candidate has strong academic (minimum 2.1 degree), personal and technical skills needed to support the client work or the department. It is also important that the candidate has strong client management and relationship skills in this client facing role. Excellent written communication and drafting skills are required.
This an opportunity for a dynamic individual with interest in business development and outstanding technical skills to this department.
Qualifications: The candidate must have a minimum 2.1 degree with the following core competencies:
Strong analytical skills
Demonstrates a willingness to learn - right candidate will want to continue to develop their key competencies and skills
Strong service orientation, with good client management skills
Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for this relationship
