LEGAL COUNSEL - COMPANY COMMERCIAL- LONDON CITY
Legal counsel required to support in house retail calling card business in Europe and other related businesses.
Responsibilities:
-Draft, negotiate, review and advise on various commercial agreements including but not limited to: non-disclosure, distribution agreements, origination (access numbers) agreements, license agreements and network service agreements (white label telecom operator customers), bandwidth agreements;
-Advise on disputes with business partners and customers;
-Advise on marketing materials: websites, posters and calling card design;
-Advise on regulatory, data protection and privacy issues in connection with retail business projects.
-Handle regulatory compliance including responding to requests for information from telecommunications regulators across Europe;
-Assist Tax Department with tax issues in relation to the calling card business as a whole;
-Provide assistance to M&A group in connection with proposed acquisitions and sales of businesses
The person who performs this role will be experienced in managing large numbers of contracts and engaging with and advising commercial staff. He or she will be regularly engaged directly with commercial managers and other legal staff and will need to critically analyse instructions received, manage expectations and meet agreed deadlines.
Requirements:
·experience of negotiating and drafting commercial contracts
·some knowledge of European regulations related to the calling card industry
·telecommunications experience
European language abilities would be an advantage
