IN HOUSE LEGAL ADVISER - ENGINEERING/ENERGY/CONSTRUCTION - LONDON CITY
Full-service engineering, procurement and construction contractor seeks Legal Adviser 7 -10 years pqe (however 3-5 years would be considered and supported if the time has been applied well)
with around 5 years oil and gas industry experience (similarly 3 years would be considered and supported)
Project Types
EPCM - Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management
PMC - Project Management Contractor
EPC Engineering, Procurement and Construction - lump sum contract legal support.
Ideally must have experience in:
·Major Projects
·Procurement
·Warranty Issues
·Insurance
Similarly if they have worked in Private Practice and been exposed to energy / oil and gas companies, then this would also be strongly considered.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the leadership team on projects and key stakeholders to get a thorough understanding of the issues and compliance.
Their approach must be effective, proactive, influential and able to offer sound legal advice while being aware of the commercial environment.
Candidates must be available to travel regularly (at least once every six weeks but this can change depending on the issues that arise) mainly to Qatar and possibly other locations.
CV's have been rejected with salaries that are too high or people that have moved around too much or taken short term roles.
