Solicitor – Personal Injury
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35,000 - £60,000
Our client requires a Solicitor to work within their Safety Health and Environmental team as part of their Injury Risk Practice Group.
The office offers a range of corporate, public and health sector client’s advice and representation in relation to a broad range of regulation and regulatory non compliance
Due to the continued expansion of this team our client is seeking an experienced solicitor to actively assist the partners with the day to day management of the team and delivery of expert advice, as well as undertaking challenging work and an involvement in business development.
Responsibilities:
You will be required to run a complex advisory and defence case load encompassing a range of regulatory issues with minimal supervision
Work may include managing a range of contentious and non contentious regulatory issues for a variety of clients on a variety of issues including Health and Safety, Food and Product Safety, Trading and Advertising standards
Assume day to day supervisory responsibility for the team, fielding queries, coaching and assisting colleagues
Support the Partner in identifying business development opportunities and new revenue streams for the firm both within Injury Risk and elsewhere
Skills:
4 years' post-qualification experience gained within a commercially focused environment
Have extensive relevant experience in advising upon and defending a broad range of trading law issues including trading standards, advertising and pricing issues and general regulatory advice
