In House Legal Assistant - £30,000 (Bristol)
An excellent and unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our multinational household name client, which currently operates in over 100 countries worldwide. On the back of another year defined by growth, both acquisition-led and through organic developments in new and existing markets, this global leader in FMCG is looking to bolster its legal department by recruiting an experienced Legal Assistant to work in its Bristol headquarters.
As an accomplished Legal Assistant with a track record of excellence, you will report to the Head of Contracts and will play a pivotal role in the legal team's offering, with key responsibilities including:
• Reviewing and drafting of a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Assisting in the provision of clear legal advice to internal stakeholders on issues including industry related legislation, carrying out legal research and managing litigation case flow.
• Liaising with external counsel.
• Taking responsibility for Health and Safety matters
With an excellent academic record, you will have obtained a law degree or undertaken the CPE and ideally completed your LPC. Most importantly however, you will be able to demonstrate solid previous contracts management and/ or paralegal experience in commercial law and commercial contracts. A good understanding of competition law and data protection would be advantageous though not mandatory.
