Our client has offices in Bath, Bristol, London and Swindon and over 300 staff. The firm has an impressive national and international client base.
They currently seek a Solicitor to join their successful Company and Commercial team based in Bristol.
You will be involved with a variety of predominantly commercial work. The team has an impressive list of clients who rely on it for advice on commercial contracts and general business advice. You will have the opportunity to lead client relationships where this is appropriate, whilst being supported by the rest of the team.
Your key responsibilities will include drafting, negotiating and advising on a wide variety of commercial contracts, ranging from standard terms and conditions to complex contracts; being actively involved in client care activities; supporting the team's business development and assisting with the development of these initiatives. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate not only sound legal knowledge and drafting skills, but a commercial, practical approach to their advice.
A suitable candidate will ideally have experience in a mix of non-contentious commercial and corporate work with an emphasis on commercial contracts.
