Location: Bristol

Description: A commercial advisory lawyer with specialist skills in procurement -  5 years PQE+ -  is required to assist this busy team in providing an effective procurement service to clients including defending (and from time to time challenging) decisions of public bodies. The successful candidate will be required to advise on complex procurement rules and practice as well as drafting framework agreements; PQQ's; OJEU notices.; ITTs and other procurement related documentation.

The individual would need the following skill set:

• Approximately 5 years PQE
• General commercial skills including commercial contract drafting and negotiation
• Particular knowledge of and experience of advising onpublic procurement law and practice
• Experience of working with public sector clients would bean advantage
• An individual with knowledge of State Aid/Competition law would also be of interest
• An ability to understand and relate to clients' needs.
• Project management skills.
• Priority and time management skills
• Organised, with lateral thinking skills and an eye for detail.
• Able to cope with pressures associated with running a caseload and assisting on more complex cases.
• A team player, with the temperament to form strong and sustained working partnerships with partners, colleagues and more junior members of the Team
