Our client currently has an opportunity for a commercial/IT solicitor to join the team based in Birmingham.
You will have a solid academic background and with a good foundation in general commercial law. Candidates with first hand industry experience are also welcome. More You will also be highly commercial, have a high degree of self-motivation, and the ability to take responsibility for a demanding and varied workload.
The position will have a focus on general commercial, contracts, data protection, freedom of information and some IT.
On the contract side you will be involved in wide-ranging non-contentious contractual issues from terms and conditions, agency, distribution and supply contracts, collaboration, to joint venture, outsourcing and data processing, as well as IT contracts and web trading agreements.
