Exciting IT commercial contracts role for bright ambitious associate seeking a varied role with top-tier global firm.
Our client is a Top 15 UK law firm with a successful network of national and international offices. The firm's Birmingham office is rightly lauded as one of their leading commercial centres, handling top notch work on behalf of major clients across diverse sectors including media, technology, retail & leisure and the public sector.
As part of their ongoing growth, our client wishes to recruit an experienced commercial contracts and IT lawyer as an associate in their Birmingham office. You'll work in a close knit team advising on the drafting and negotiation of IT and IT outsourcing contracts and business process outsourcing work and acting for both customers and suppliers in the public and private sectors. With proven experience of IT and outsourcing contracts you'll also contribute to the development of client relationships and support the teams' business development strategy.
The team is very supportive and close knit handling cutting-edge work and you'll immediately feel right at home in this team orientated unit. There is a fine balance between supervised work and the freedom to lead on matters where appropriate. To broaden your commercial skills, there are also fantastic opportunities to take on client secondments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a lawyer with the drive and ambition to match their legal skills. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of client relationships and to assist in bringing on junior members of the team. There is no question that the successful candidate will be groomed for partnership.
