This global commercial finance company that provides financial products and advisory services to more than one million customers in over 50 countries now has an exciting opportunity to join its legal team based in Bracknell, Berkshire. A leader in middle market financing, CIT has more than $80 billion in managed assets and provides financial solutions for more than half the Fortune 500 as well as small business lending, equipment leasing, vendor financing and factoring.
Reporting into the Chief European Counsel in Dublin, you will provide legal advice and support to the UK sales team on a wide variety of financial transactions and other matters in the UK. More specifically, you will negotiate finance arrangements with vendors, dealers and brokers and develop finance products for customers ranging from consumers to corporates. You will provide legal advice on contractual, commercial and regulatory issues as well as monitor and keep business units advised on legislative changes and case law. You will have a strong commercial background including existing leasing or asset finance/ banking experience gained from a respected law firm or similar finance organisation.
