SME/OMB Business Lawyer - Greater Manchester

Our client is a professionally managed and forward thinking practice. It is a full service law firm serving the local business community as well as private individuals.  Despite the economic climate, the practice has achieved impressive and significant rates of growth and is looking to improve its standing in the region. There is a huge potential to develop the commercial practice amongst the local business community which a diverse mix of SME and OMB clients across manufacturing, logistics, building and construction, new technology, retail, leisure, professional and financial sectors.

To complement the pre-existing commercial team and further bolster the practice, applications are sought from those experienced in the following areas:

• Employment
• Commercial & Trading Activity
• Business Set up and reorganisation
• Corporate Transactions

The firm's target audience is Small to Medium Enterprise and Owner Managed Business clients and this requires a certain type of lawyer. Gravitas, commercial acumen and genuine interest in your client's business being down to earth and delivering pragmatic, cost effective services.  

It is not expected that you will be technically experienced in all areas or expected to deliver all these services - these are the areas which would complement the existing team.  You will be aware of the need to market and business develop with a proven track record and established contacts.

The appointment is a strategic one, to further bolster the commercial standing of the practice. There are unrivalled prospects for full partnership.
