Job Description
Leading commercial practice in London require an experienced Solicitor to join their IP team involved with some of the country`s leading businesses. The successful candidate will have at least 2-3 years` post-qualification IP experience gained within a highly ranked practice Candidates should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the life sciences sector and factors affecting that sector, ideally with some knowledge and experience in
the regulatory aspects of pharmaceutical and device approvals.
Excellent academic record with a minimum of a 2.1 gained at degree level (or equivalent). Candidates with a life science qualification would be ideal but are not essential.
Good technical ability and solid drafting skills.
Attention to detail and thoroughness as important as a motivated and enthusiastic attitude. Flexible in attitude and approach to work. Able to demonstrate effective organisational and prioritisation skills. At times the successful candidate will be working to tight deadlines and under pressure and will be required to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective team player - able to work effectively in an established, close-knit team. An enthusiastic and engaged attitude with excellent people skills and a good, clear communication style. Able to form strong working relationships across all areas of the
practice.
