Job Description
Commercial/Energy Solicitor, London - This Legal 500 International law firm require an individual who has a solid understanding of commercial and energy law. The Energy team has a growing practice advising across a number of areas, particularly in the renewable energy in all sectors. The Commercial team is split into a number of work product groups: which include technology, projects/PFI/energy, IP/media, commercial contracts and rail. The firm are now looking for an experienced solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE to work within the energy projects part of the commercial team based in London. You will be responsible for advising on Power Purchase Agreements, Fuel Supply Agreements, Concession Agreements and Grid Connection documentation; advising on the electricity and renewable energy laws, regulations and codes support on corporate and financing deals; business development initiatives including speaking at seminars for clients, internal training, client briefing papers, softer BD initiatives and client relationship management.
