Commercial Lawyer, Associate, Senior Associate/Partner
HampshireAn exciting vacancy has arisen in this established, award winning, national law firm in their Hampshire commercial team.
The ideal candidate will be a mid to senior level Commercial Lawyer to join their office in Hampshire.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising the current team, managing existing client relationships and developing the number and quality of client's serviced from the Berkshire office. You will work in conjunction with two partners in the Berkshire office.
This exciting and challenging role encompasses all aspects and of commercial contract, work including drafting and advising on terms and conditions, agency, distribution, franchising and goods/services supply contracts, leasing and concession arrangements, outsourcing projects, infrastructure projects, public/private partnerships, advice on regulated contracts (e.g. in the financial services sector), commercial joint ventures, IT and technology contracts and licences and eCommerce.
Whilst the successful candidate is not expected to major in all these areas, S/he should be able to supervise lawyers in all these areas.
The successful candidate should have gained at a major National or London firm; significant experience of the full range of commercial contracts/projects and related contract Law; direct experience of heavy weight contract negotiations ; experience of assisting on corporate transactions (in relation to commercial elements) ; experience of leading and managing a team on matters ranging from major projects to large scale commercial due diligence.
A client following is not required, although the firm would be interested in discussing any following, given that it may influence the overall package, including the level at which the successful candidate joins.
