This is a rare opportunity to join one of the country's top legal practices at a particularly exciting time in its development. The firm continues to grow at a healthy rate and has maintained profitable levels of instructions to the corporate team necessitating in the recruitment of additional fee-earners at a range of levels.
This particular requirement offers an ambitious and technically excellent lawyer the chance to work alongside two partners on a range of commercial and corporate matters. It is anticipated that the role will be virtually split 50/50, perhaps with a slight leaning towards the commercial side, and that the successful applicant will be keen to handle matters on behalf of a blue chip client base in relation to both disciplines.
Due to the calibre of the practice's clients and the service levels which the firm delivers it is therefore expected that you will be a City-trained lawyer or have worked with a leading national firm, and be used to working on high value matters. You should be comfortable working on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private equity deals and equally be capable of working on the related commercial contracts which may include outsourcing and IP matters, procurement and supply contracts. Due to the scope of the role and level of supervision available it is expected that you will be circa 1-3 years PQE although applications from candidates at all levels of qualification will be considered.
