Commercial (Technology) Solicitor, the City
A Commercial (Technology) Solicitor is required for a fantastic opportunity with an international law firm based in the City remunerating up to £105,000 as a base.
My client is one of the largest, full service law firms in the world, acting for the public and private sector. They offer their employees a fantastic working environment with offices globally. Their expertise lies in four key areas; Company Commercial, Human Resources, Litigation and Dispute Management, and Real Estate.
You will play a key role in helping to grow and develop the IT and Outsourcing business within the Technology practice. You will be an IT and Outsourcing Solicitor but also may have experience of IP and Telecoms. You will be providing advice on outsourcing and IT contracts as well as support on corporate deals. Steering business development and client relationship management will be high on your agenda.
You must have a good grounding in Commercial law and the connected laws and regulations. You must be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and be an excellent communicator. Your client management skills will be of a high standard and you will be looking to further your career in Technology and Outsourcing. Already you will have worked on significant and complex technology and outsourcing contracts and you will be able to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of contract terms and also the key commercial and operational issues with these types of deals. Experience of IT and BPO transactions in the financial services sector is important.
