Job Description
Commercial/IT Solicitor, Cambridgeshire A new opening has arisen for a Commercial/IT Solicitor to join a top tier practice based in Cambridgeshire. The progressive law firm advises a wide range of clients both nationally and internationally on various legal services including family, property, technology, corporate, agriculture and employment to name but a few. The firm is looking for a Commercial Technology Lawyer with a minimum of 2 years pqe gained in a busy team to join their expanding commercial technology team. The team advises PLCs, multinationals as well as academic institutions and public sector clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mainly non-contentious workload of IP, IT and other commercial matters such as data protection, IT related agreements, licensing and corporate support. You will be expected to be able to develop relationships with both existing and new clients along with remaining up to date with technical developments in law and working closely within a team. An interest in business development would be advantageous.
