The department
DAC Beachcroft is a leading international legal business with more than 2,000 people across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America. We provide a full service claims, transactional, commercial, risk and advisory capability. We work with clients in a select range of industry sectors and are market leaders in health, insurance and real estate.
The Business Development and Communications Group is based in our London and Bristol offices and combines strategic input to business planning and CRM with specialist support from six teams: Business Development, Business Intelligence, Bids, Corporate Communications, Marketing Services and Events. Our approach is to focus on specific, tailored activity for our priority clients, requiring expert input from marketing professionals.

Core responsibilities
The Business Intelligence Executive will play a key role in providing accurate and up-to-date business research on existing and prospective clients. It will be your responsibility to compile client research reports, where you will utilise global sources to gather information. Your research will then help influence key business decisions. You will work alongside experienced Business Development Account Managers, who will utilise your research to help them prepare for client review meetings, and the production of bids, tenders and proposals.
Unlike many firms, the Business Development and Communications group at DAC Beachcroft enjoys excellent visibility and reputation within the business. It is highly regarded by management and is playing a central role in driving the firm's strategy.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with experienced professionals who are experts in their field; providing an excellent learning and development environment.
Key skills
We are looking for someone of graduate calibre who has some research based experience. Along with the ability to develop specialist knowledge and generate data from multiple sources, you will need to be someone who can perform high quality and accurate research.
