This is a fantastic chance for an experienced PARALEGAL/LEGAL ASSISTANT with a background in NURSING or MIDWIFERY to provide support to the CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE team of this well known City law firm.

You must hold a minimum 2.1 degree; have successfully completed the LPC; have outstanding academics; have gained at least six months practical experience undertaking a similar role with another Legal 500 firm based in Central London, ideally in the City; possess excellent IT and typing skills; have excellent interpersonal skills.

Duties will include:

• Acting as first point of contact for new clients

• Obtain medical records

• Sorting, analysing and paginating medical records

• Scheduling radiology and cross-referencing to medical records

• Preparing medical chronologies

• Assisting fee earners with the medical side of the investigation during the pre-action side of the investigation.

• Assisting fee earners with LSC applications
