Private practice requires a Clinical Negligence to join a partner led team handling files from inception to completion. Your duties will include obtaining witness statements, liaising with third parties including medical representatives, health trusts and insurance companies, advising upon liability and quantum, drafting letters of claim, prepare claims for litigation and issue proceedings. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of the litigation process as well as the ability to prepare files when instructing Counsel or undertake advocacy where possible.
The team handles a wide variety of claims to include misdiagnosis/delayed diagnosis, operation errors, dental claims, product liability and allergic reactions to name but a few.
Salary dependent upon experience.
