Owen Reed Legal are seeking candidates for the following role based in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate MUST have Personal Injury experience as a claims handler, solicitor, legal executive or paralegal. Brief Description of Role: Our client are on an upwards trajectory and are seeking to recruit either claims handlers, legal executives or solicitors for their Chelmsford office in their Liability Insurance Division. This is a great opportunity to work on a high quality caseload for a variety of clients on Fast & Multi-track claims, with a focus on motor liability and quantum work. Team Information: Our clients Liability Insurance Division is based in Chelmsford and the lead partner is known in particular for dealing with employers`, motor and public liability claims. He has also developed expertise including catastrophic, brain and psychiatric injury on behalf of insurers, self-insured and policyholders. Essential: 1-3 years` - Defendant personal injury experience (claimant experience will be considered). Ability to apply a commercial approach to claims in order to deliver economic solutions. To be proactive and take initiative. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Ability to manage own time, excellent organisation skills. Strong technical and research skills. Type of Clients: Employers` Liability/Public Liability Insurers Motor insurers Local authorities and London Boroughs Claims handlers Type of Cases: Employers`, motor and public liability General liability Catastrophic, brain and psychiatric injury Qualifications: Essential: Good Academics. Desirable: UK Qualified Solicitor with relevant post qualification experience. FILEX qualified. Experience: (Type, length, quality, background) Able to run own caseload with some supervision. Experience of arbitration and negotiation. To have had previous client contact and attendance at business development events. Desirable: Fast track and/or Multi-track claims experience.
