Our clients are a successful law firm with offices across the Midlands who benefit from an excellent reputation within the legal sector.
They are currently looking for an additional experienced Costs Draftsperson to join their Insurance and Banking team based in the Birmingham office. Applications are sought from candidates with sound experience in dealing with a broad range of costs analysis work, strong technical ability and ideally, previous advocacy experience.
The successful applicant will join an expanding and busy team where their responsibilities will include drafting bills and schedules of costs, formulating offers and negotiating settlements. It is essential that applicants have a proven track record of drafting bills of costs combined with extensive knowledge of the detailed assessment process. The work encompasses all aspects of Civil Litigation from both a Claimant and Defendant perspective, primarily from internal referrals within the firm.
