Job Description

Fast Track RTA Fee Earners

NewLaw Solicitors is currently recruiting for Fee Earners within the Fast Track RTA Department. We are looking for Fee Earners of various levels, from entry level Paralegals to Solicitors.

The main responsibilities of the roles are to act at all times in the best interest of the Claimant, while profitably managing a case load of Personal Injury RTA claims. Fee Earners will be responsible for:

1) Conducting a case load of Fast Track pre or post litigation work.
2) Managing your own case load within NewLaw's standard services levels and those applicable to particular client accounts.
3) Delivering on a set of income and process related KPI's
4) Senior Fee Earners will work with more junior members of the team to develop their technical and operational skills

We are looking for LPC graduates, Paralegals, Legal Executives and Solicitors with experience of or an interest in RTA claims from either a Solicitors or Insurance background.

Ideally you will have experience of running Fast Track files, preferably cases including instances of special damages, self employed loss of earnings, multi-occupancy vehicles and disposal hearings where Personal Injury quantum is disputed.

You will also have a willingness to keep up to date with legal developments in these areas and share your knowledge in a team focused environment.

You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines, income targets, and KPI's. You will be familiar with using case management systems.

A strong focus on client care, good interpersonal skills and demonstrable negotiation skills is essential in this role.
