STRUCTURED CAPITAL MARKETS LAWYER - LONDON CITY
Leading international firm seeks mid-level Structured Capital Markets Lawyer to join London based team.
Description: The Structured Capital Markets Team in the UK is a rapidly growing specialised unit, working within the larger Finance Department. The team handles significant securitisation, structured capital markets and complex derivatives based transactions for a wide variety of significant international clients. They work for lead managers, issuers, originators, trustees, rating agencies and other counterparties, and in relation to securitisation transactions, in all types of asset classes, both on term transactions and also asset-backed commercial paper.
Unlike many other UK teams, the firm's structured capital markets team takes an integrated approach to capital markets, securitisation and derivatives work. Accordingly, our lawyers get a high level of hands-on experience across all these disciplines, rather than being required to specialise in one area at too early a stage.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will come from a similar UK firm background. It is essential that the candidate has strong academic (minimum 2.1 degree), personal and technical skills needed to support the client work of the department. Excellent written communication and drafting skills are required as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative and pro-activity.
