Job Description

An urgent need has arisen for a Banking Solicitor with up to 3 years' PQE to join an extremely busy team based in Birmingham, in order to provide a period of maternity cover.

The successful applicant will work on behalf of a major high street lender carrying out debt recovery work for secured and defended unsecured matters which includes mortgage repossession work. The role involves a high volume of telephone calls with both debtors and clients.

In order to be successful in this role, applicants will need good solid experience of the whole litigation process, excellent organisational, time management skills, strong negotiation and communication skills.

Applicants should be technically sound as the role with encompass some technical guidance to a small team. The role will also have some reporting requirements and as a result, excel proficiency is essential.
