Job Description

A leading UK financial services provider based in Surrey is currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated newly qualified lawyer to join their well established legal team initially on a 6 month contractual basis but with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

Reporting directly to the Head of Legal you will be involved in a variety of work including:

Reviewing and negotiating supplier agreements, service level agreements as requested by customers or suppliers

Reviewing and approving all tenders and marketing material as required by the business

Advising the business and negotiating where necessary the effective resolution of commercial disputes

Researching legal precedents and legislation where required

Providing ongoing support and assistance to the legal team

Ideally you will be a qualified lawyer with 0-3 years PQE and have excellent academics. Experience within a FSA regulated organisation or good knowledge of commercial contracts is advantageous however not essential. As a part of this collegiate and forward thinking team you will receive excellent training and mentoring, enjoy a varied work load and have a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
