THE ROLE
A role has become available in the Manchester office, for a successful and experienced Law Costs Draftsman to join the busy costs team. The role will suit a Cost Draftsperson with at least 10 years solid experience, primarily in Clinical Negligence. Strong advocacy skills would be an advantage. The successful candidate should have recent and proven technical ability and excellent communication skills. You will be required to build and maintain lasting working relationships with colleagues and clients and must have the knowledge and ability to ensure that the workflow and procedures are strictly adhered to.
THE CANDIDATE
You must have at least 10 years` experience as a Law Costs Draftsperson, and be fully conversant and experienced in costs advocacy and all areas of costs law, with particular emphasis on clinical negligence files.
You will need to be able to work unsupervised, and to tight deadlines.
You must have strong academics of degree calibre.
You must have proven technical ability.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
