Job Description

A leading bank is currently seeking a talented Lawyer or Transaction Manager to join their well established in-house team. Although initially hiring on a temporary basis, for the right candidate this position could become permanent.

Reporting directly to the Head of the Group and working within a fast paced and collegiate team you with responsible for:

• Reviewing, negotiating and safe keeping of documents entered into by the relevant product group.
• Ensuring the deal has been properly approved by the Bank before execution of the deal.
• The issuance of the bonds.
• Reviewing amendments, noteholder meetings and resolutions.
• Liaising with in-house counsel on each transaction together with development and maintenance of relationships with law firms.
• Providing assistance on projects and documentational/jurisdictional issues and procedures as required by the business.

Ideally you will be have at least 3 years proven legal/document management experience across the areas of structured finance, DCM and/or corporate trustee law. As a part of this forward thinking team you will receive excellent training and mentoring, enjoy a varied work load and have a close working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
