WHATS ON OFFER

ProLegal is working with a rapidly expanding, highly regarded law firm. Due to continued high level of client demand this firm is looking for an associate with 4 years' experience to join their top tier financial services department.

This department is headed by a real leader in the field. You will have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from this market expert. This role covers a broad range of regulatory work, with an emphasis on mortgage regulation.

YOU

You will have worked in a City firm or for a large regional practice, you will have good commercial awareness of the environment in which legal advice is given, and you will have advised clients in relation to retail financial services and be looking to further develop your practice and knowledge level. In addition to this you will have strong technical competence and legal skills, along with excellent drafting skills and attention to detail are vital. You must be able to manage your own case load. Ideally, you will have an interest in mortgage and general insurance regulation.

You must be able to demonstrate experience of financial services regulatory issues arising from agreements between financial services providers.

As an individual you will be enthusiastic and able to generate relationships with candidates and be an active business developer. In addition previous experience of mentoring junior members of staff would be a benefit.
