- You will have advised clients in relation to retail financial services and be looking to further develop your practice and knowledge level.
- Strong technical competence and legal skills, along with excellent drafting skills and attention to detail are vital.
- You will be used to working independently and managing your own workload.
-Be able to demonstrate experience of financial services regulatory issues arising from agreements between financial services providers (such as white labelling affinity partner arrangements).
-An interest in and exposure to mortgage and general insurance regulation a real advantage
- You will be enthusiastic to undertake practice development and keen to get to know and understand our existing clients and help explore opportunities with prospective clients.
- You will be able to demonstrate an interest in the current financial market affairs and a commitment to keeping up to date with regulatory, banking and market issues that impact on our clients.
- Experience of some supervision or mentoring experience would be ideal, if not, the skills to develop into a supervisor/mentor.
- Enthusiasm, personable nature and a strong team player, who enjoys a challenging and varied role.
- You will be able to demonstrate strong client relationships and the commitment to developing as a Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer.
- Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the FSA framework and conduct of business rules as well as understanding of the CCA.
