The Firm
This US law firm provides legal advice to corporate, governmental & investment banking clients on a variety of corporate finance transactions, including initial public offerings, high-yield financing offerings of regulatory capital and other hybrid securities and global equity & debt offerings. They have played a key role assisting investment banks & others in developing hybrid securities & structuring financing transactions.
The Role
This new hire will join the Capital Markets group in the London office & represent clients in a variety of locations throughout Europe. The group offers expert advice to a wide range of underwriters & issuers on a variety of debt (inc structured finance/derivatives) & equity offerings (including share listings). Deals often involve multiple jurisdictions and the team benefits from having UK & US qualified lawyers in London.
You
You will be 2PQE plus. To be successful you will have trained at a leading City law firm and qualified into a well regarded capital markets department. You will have strong experience with an emphasis on ECM work, however, some experience in DCM work will also be of interest.
Excellent written communication and drafting skills are essential, as well as the ability to demonstrate initiative. Early responsibility is ensured within a fast-paced and challenging environment. A firstclass academic record is essential.
