There are alternatives to fee earning! Exciting opportunity to work for a leading brand, working directly with the sales team, PSLs and customers to generate business and bring back client, market and competitor insights. To suit a pro-active lawyer / PSL 2-6PQE with practice experience in a leading firm in either banking, finance, corporate or commercial litigation who would relish a new career direction.
THE ROLE
Responsibilities to include:
· Working with the sales person(s) to understand the objective(s) of the meeting
· Accompanying sales people on renewal and new business opportunities (must be prepared to travel nationally)
· Taking time to understand the customer's practice and research the firm in advance
· To connect and empathise with the customer and assist the sales person to build a strong relationship
· Engage with key decision makers and influencers on lawyer to lawyer conversations providing specialist legal and know-how knowledge.
· Be prepared to engage in PSL demos
· Focus on what the product features mean for the clients business and the benefits this will bring to their practice
ABOUT YOU
The idea candidate would be approx 2-6PQE with fee earning experience gained in a corporate practice area in a leading City or large regional firm. You should have an interest in and some experience of know-how and PSL functions in a law firm as well as commercial acumen and strong interpersonal skills.
